Delete your account in the app
1. Open MARN and sign in. 2. Go to Profile → Privacy & security. 3. Tap Delete account and confirm. To protect your account, we may ask you to confirm your identity first. Your account is closed immediately: you are signed out on every device and can no longer sign in.
Request deletion without the app
If you no longer have the app, email hello@marnai.app from the email address registered to your MARN account, with the subject "Delete my account". To protect you from requests made by someone else, we may ask you to confirm the request before we act on it. We will reply by email when the deletion is complete.
What we delete
Your account: name, email address, phone number and password. Your profile: goals, body measurements, preferences, allergies and other details you entered. Your plans and logs: workout and meal plans, AI-generated programs, and the workouts, meals, water, habits and progress you logged. Your connected health data: readings synced from Health Connect, Apple Health, WHOOP and Google Health, your health summaries and scores, and the access tokens for connected services — we also revoke MARN's access at WHOOP and Google Health. Your community memberships.
What we keep, and for how long
We keep only limited records that we need for security, fraud prevention and our legal obligations — such as a record that the account was deleted, with the date and the IP address and device of the request. These records do not contain your profile, plans, logs or health data, and we keep them only as long as those purposes require. Copies of deleted data can remain in our database backups for up to 30 days, after which the backups are overwritten.
How long it takes
When you delete in the app, you lose access immediately, and your name, email address, phone number and password are removed from your account straight away. Your connected health data and tokens are deleted at the same time. The rest of your data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Requests made by email are completed within 30 days of the request.
Before you delete
Deletion cannot be undone. If you want a copy of your data, download it first in Profile → Privacy & security. If you only want to stop sharing health data, you can disconnect a source instead in Profile → Health & wearables.
